Duties:The Castle Museum of Saginaw County History is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Office Manager/Accounting Manager. This position includes responsibilities in all areas of financial accounting as well as planning and management of overall office activities for a non-profit museum with nine full-time and five part-time staff members. May also include involvement in budgeting, event planning, customer service, membership, communications with government entities, volunteer coordination, and special projects as determined by the President/CEO that further the mission of the organization.
Experience Required:Qualifications and Education Requirements - Bachelors degree or equivalent - Superb organizational skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Computer literacy with experience in Quickbooks Accounting software (or equivalent program) - Experience in cash handling, invoice creation, and accounts payable/receivable transaction processing. Preferred Attributes: - Experience working in a non-profit environment - Experience in Human Resources management - Experience planning and executing events - Passion for history, particularly relating to the local history of Saginaw County and its included communities
