| Duties: | Seeking an experienced pastry chef to join our bakery team!
We are looking for a creative individual to become part of the Patisserie staff. If you have a passion for baking and creating delicious desserts this is the job for you. If you meet the qualifications listed please apply via email or come in-person.
General knowledge of the food industry and working production
Kitchen skills including but not limited to:
? Creativity: assist in creating new and innovative desserts that will bring in customers. Knowledge of ingredients and how to use them in a creative way
? Leadership Skills
? Hand-Eye Coordination: skills to work with knives, icing bags and other precision tools and must have excellent technique preparing food
? Time Management Skills
? Standard kitchen skills: following recipes, knowledge of measurements and conversion of measurements, baking, decorating
Must have knowledge of making different types of doughs, frostings, cheesecakes, etc.
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
Must be able to work individually and as a team
Must have 3+ years of experience in the bakery or restaurant industry
Must be able to work standing/on feet up to 8+ hour per day |
