Saginaw native Rosie King reads from her newest book of poems covering family and childhood, the community of
friends, loss and joy. King was a 9th grade English student of June Roethke, the poet’s sister. A graduate of Wellesley College, San Francisco State and UC Santa Cruz, her poems have appeared in various journals. Rosie King has been read on Writers Almanac seven times. She lives in California.
