Event Description:

The Saginaw Art Museum is teaming up with Major Chords for Minors to bring music to the museum! Join us for an afternoon of music making and education. All instruments will be provided by Major Chords for Minors and will go hand in hand with musical themed crafts! While you're at SAM, be sure to check out our current exhibition, "Medieval to Metal: The Art and Evolution of the Guitar", featuring 40 guitars from the National GUITAR Museum.

This activity is provided free of charge to children ages 15 and under, and is free with regular admission for anyone over 15 ($3 for students or seniors; $5 for adults). Please note that the number of participants is capped at 20, and that young children must be accompanied by an adult. As such, RSVP's are encouraged, though not required. To do so, please contact Lauren Grotkowski, Registrar-Museum Services Coordinator, at staff@saginawartmuseum.org or by calling the museum at 989-754-2491 ext. 101. All art materials will be supplied by the museum. Certain materials may become hazardous if used improperly - always follow instructions given by staff leader. We hope to see you for an afternoon full of learning and fun.
