Camp Healing Hearts will be hosting their 9th annual family grief day camp at the Children’s Zoo at Celebration Square! The purpose of this camp is to help children and families who have recently experienced the death of a loved one, and teaches children, teens, and adults how to cope with their loss in a healthy way. Trained staff will also provide fun activities for the whole family to enjoy! Activities include arts and crafts, music activities, family grief activities, and a non-denominational memorial service. St. Mary’s of Michigan, Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, and community contributors have made it possible for families to attend Camp Healing Hearts free of charge. Lunch and a t-shirt will also be provided free of charge upon registration. Please register by May 1.
