On Wednesday, March 6, the East Side Soup Kitchen will be holding a Fish Fry fundraiser.
Having already served over 8,000 meals in 2019, the East Side Soup Kitchen is beginning their fundraising efforts early. The fundraiser will offer eat-in and carry-out options. Meals will be served from 12:30pm-7pm. Cost is $10. Meal includes: Fried cod, french fries, mac and cheese, cole slaw, and bread and butter.
The East Side Soup Kitchen, located at 940 East Genesee in Saginaw, has been serving meals and hope, in the heart of downtown since 1980. In 2018, the East Side Soup Kitchen served over 80,000 meals, with dignity and respect, to all who came to the door.
Regular meal service will be offered prior to the fish fry.
