Dow Chemical Employees’ Credit Union presents the CAN Council’s 16th annual Dine & Unwind (formerly Wines Around the World). This evening brings together area restaurants to showcase their specialties and match an appropriate wine or spirit with the food. This is an excellent networking opportunity or a great way to ease into the weekend.
What: CAN Council’s 16th annual Dine & Unwind (formerly Wines Around the World)
When: Friday, April 26th from 5:30 – 9pm
Where: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on Bay City’s Riverfront (1 Wenonah Park Place, Bay City, MI 48708)
Why: The proceeds from this event are necessary to the CAN Council’s daily operations throughout the coming year.
Cost: $75 per ticket (must be 21 years of age or older to enter)
Chefs from the region’s most reputable restaurants including: Apple Mountain, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Fusion 1 Café, Gatsby’s Seafood & Steakhouse, The Gourmet Cupcake Shoppe, Ideal Party Store & Shamrock Dairy Bar, Latitude 43 Grill & Bar, Old City Hall Restaurant, Oppermann’s Cork ‘N’ Ale, Saginaw Country Club, US. Foods, and VNO Wine Warehouse & New Age Restaurant will be preparing special menus for the evening’s tastings including a special ice cream sundae bar!
Your $75 ticket includes a variety of fine food, along with samples of expertly-paired wine, beers, and bourbon throughout the evening. Your ticket also covers admission into the silent and live auction. You’ll be able to take part in a 50/50 raffle and an exciting trip raffle too. Reserve a room and make an evening out of it!
The CAN Council is at the forefront of addressing the issues surrounding child abuse and neglect through its nationally-accredited and award-winning prevention, intervention, and advocacy programs. Your support is necessary to continue daily operations throughout the coming year. Ultimately, we’ll protect more Bay County children and support more families with the revenue from this event.
