Mobile Medical Response, Inc. is a private non-profit ambulance service headquartered in Saginaw. MMR provides Basic, Advanced and Critical Care transportation services to 13 counties in mid and northern Michigan. Yesterday…MMR started services in Lansing as part of a collaborative agreement with Sparrow and its affiliate hospitals. This new service area will generate over 6,000 patient transfers annually and has created 30 new jobs. MMR now employs over 530 individuals and will respond to over 100,000 requests for service in 2014.
MMR is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Ambulance Services, and is an “Accredited Center of Excellence” by the National Academy of Emergency Dispatch. MMR’s MedCom Center is the first in the State of Michigan to receive this designation. MMR provides EMT, Paramedic, and advance specialty training at several locations across the State and has a 98% positive rating for patient satisfaction.
