Duties:• Administer benefits including: o Profit Sharing/401(k) o PTO o Health, dental, and vision insurance o Life insurance o Disability insurance o Worker’s compensation o Medical and FMLA leave • Administer unemployment claims • Oversee analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance • Works with other managers and supervisors to resolve personnel issues and oversee that issues are documented • Assist in determining wage scale for staff • Develop necessary staff policies and procedures in coordination with management • Assist with job descriptions as needed • Coordinate job postings with personnel department • Assist with determining scheduling guidelines • Oversee safety and emergency policies/procedures • Other HR duties as required
Experience Required:• Bachelor’s degree in HR and 3 years work experience in HR field • Proficient in Microsoft Windows including Word and Excel • Positive attitude and friendly personality with ability to relate well to wide variety of people and circumstances • Excellent communication, reasoning, listening, leadership, and problem-solving skills • Strong documentation skills with attention to details • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents • 401(k), profit sharing experience beneficial
