| Duties: | Our Account Executives call on the local business community (60 mile radius) helping business owners
capture a greater share of the “millions of dollars” our radio listeners spend annually on a wide variety of
goods and services.
This is a full time “business to business” sales position that requires you to spend the vast majority of
each day pursuing and meeting with local business executives, owners and/or decision makers to be
successful. They don’t call you. You must go to them.
So our ideal candidate is a fearless hunter type seller who thrives on intensive phone and in person
prospecting and cold calling activities. Someone able to engage decision makers and can build trusting
relationships over time.
Our sales approach takes a little longer than most. It’s a far cry from running the streets selling the
special of the day or Easter Bunny sponsorship.
Our Account Executives employ a consultative sales approach where we first meet with decision makers
to uncover their most pressing business needs. Eventually we develop and present an effective radio
advertising solution capable of meeting or exceeding the decision maker’s expressed expectations.
So our process requires someone with a curious nature who can effectively probe and discover customer
needs. Someone with excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills). Someone
who displays a sense of command and confidence when presenting and closing. A customer focused
seller who truly wants to deliver meaningful results for the customer. |
| Experience Required: | You must have insured and dependable transportation along with a current drivers license and good
driving record.
You must possess basic computer skills and be able to operate Word, Excel
You will earn a guaranteed $30,000 with potential to earn much more with commission and performance
