The goal with structural drying is to dry the home after water damage without having to remove structural components, which reduces costs and minimizes the inconvenience to the homeowner. To achieve this goal we use state of the art equipment and the newest technology and advancements available in the industry. We have a wide variety and one of the largest inventories of restoration equipment in the area at our disposal to guarantee your disaster will be handled properly. We also insure that water damage to the home is mitigated properly by using state of the art and thorough moisture detection and monitoring processes. Some tips we offer to homeowners if they should have water damages are: (1) Contact Hammer Restoration so we can get our trained and IICRC certified technicians on the way, (2) Identify and eliminate the water source, (3) Remove as much excess water from wood furniture, (4) Raise furniture off of wet carpeting by placing plastic or blocks under the legs, (5) Open any drawers and cabinet/closet doors (do not force them open). Once water damage has occurred, the destructive elements of moisture are set in motion. Without proper and timely attention, carpet will delaminate and stain. Wood floors, tiles, subfloors, walls and cabinets will warp and buckle.
