Twice a year, Saginaw County high school students are invited to participate in youth service day events. At these events the students are taught the meaning of giving back to their communities. The students are mixed together into teams representing various walks of life. YPN members are needed to help lead these groups as they make a difference in the community. Students and leaders will be asked to paint, plant, prune, wash windows, fix benches and whatever else is needed of them to do, based on their assigned site.
Time commitment: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (breakfast, lunch and a free t-shirt included)
Locations: Members will start and end the day at the Saginaw YMCA – busses will transport volunteers to their prospective sites
