The Salvation Army will be hosting a two day event for Saginaw County residents, who are eligible, to sign up to receive Angel Tree Christmas Assistance. To be eligible, a Michigan ID for all adults in the household, proof of dependents in the home-such as birth certificate or guardianship papers, proof of Saginaw County address-such as utility bill, mortgage, or lease and any paperwork that you receive from DHHS-such as a case summary or notice of Case Action that is dated within the last 30 days. The sign ups will run November 6th from 9am-1pm and November 7th from 9am-1pm and 5pm-7pm.
This year, the participants who are eligible will have the opportunity to walk around our Christmas Toy shop and pick out gifts for their children 15 years old and younger on December 21st.
