Saginaw Choral Society opens its Temple Theatre
concert series on Saturday, October 19, at 3:00 PM with “Campfire Stories with Johnathan
Rand,” the acclaimed author of the American Chillers and Michigan Chillers book series. The
concert will be repeated in an abridged version on Sunday, October 20, at 3:00 PM at the
Bronner Performing Arts Center in Frankenmuth.
Gather around the campfire as Rand, the master storyteller, shares his campfire stories of
captivating tales filled with adventure and imagination. This blending of storytelling and music
showcases the Choral Society singers and the Saginaw Youth Choir, who will perform songs
that perfectly complement the campfire atmosphere. Each one is chosen to enhance the
suspense and magic of Rand’s narratives, creating an unforgettable afternoon of entertainment.
Come dressed in your “campfire best,” like the singers on stage. Relax comfortably as
Johnathan entertains us with stories that remind us of nights sitting around a campfire with
    family and friends.
