 | EPIC — Emerging Professionals in the Chamber — is a half-day conference designed for area professionals looking to strengthen leadership skills, foster individual growth, and advance their careers, knowledge, and professional networks. Chamber members, as well as Saginaw County Young Professionals Network (YPN) members, are invited to attend.
The first-ever EPIC Leadership Conference on Thursday, October 8, 2026, brings together accomplished professionals, business leaders and emerging talent for a day of inspiration, practical learning and meaningful connections at Saginaw Valley State University's Curtiss Hall.
Start your day with a morning general session. Then, attendees will then choose from breakout sessions led by local industry leaders J.J. Boehm of Saginaw Valley State University, Beth Charlton of Covenant HealthCare, and Dick Garber of Garber Management Group. Sessions will explore topics including workplace culture, professional storytelling and relationship-building, and connected leadership.
The conference concludes with a luncheon and keynote presentation from Jason Richardson, a Saginaw-native, former NBA player, and entrepreneur. Richardson will share experiences and perspectives designed to inspire attendees to pursue growth, embrace opportunity, and make an impact.
