FRANKENMUTH, Mich – FEB, 16, 2026 - Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Restaurant is set to host a medieval-inspired culinary experience, “Return of the Firedrake Wine Dinner” this spring.
This immersive wine dinner will take place on March 20 at 6 PM in the European-inspired ambiance of Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Guests can anticipate five courses and a glass of wine to accompany each dish.
Jake Molle of Eagle Eye Brands will guide guests through each pairing, sharing the history behind each wine. The first course of the five will begin the night with Sea Salt Roasted Beef Marrow and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Following the first course will introduce another medieval-derived pairing, Castle Garden Shrubbery Salad and a glass of LunaGaia Maganza Zibibbo, a white wine made from one of the rarest and most ancient grapes known. The main dish of the night will be a Sage Butter Pasta with Quail Eggs, accompanied by a glass of dry red wine. The fourth dish will be Medieval Stewed Beef Ribs paired with a red blend. Fireside Pears with Cinnamon Egg Custard and a glass of blueberry wine from Dragon Fire Wines will close out the night with a sweet finish.
To enhance the medieval experience, attendees are encouraged to dress in Renaissance-inspired attire.
