 | The Hospital Hospitality House of Saginaw will host its 11th annual Kentucky Derby Party on Thursday, April 30 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Horizons Conference Center, 6200 State Street.
Presented by the William F. McNally Family Foundation, the event invites guests to dress in traditional Kentucky Derby attire including seersucker suits, bow ties, dresses, and elaborate derby hats and fedoras. Tickets are $100 per person.
The event will feature a variety of activities including:
- Southern Cuisine – Enjoy an all you can eat “Derby” style dinner
- Mint Julep Station – Try the iconic Kentucky Derby cocktail in addition to an open bar
- Silent Auction – Vacation packages, unique family adventures, gift certificates, and more
- Horse Betting – Examine the odds, place your bet, and cheer your favorite horse to the finish line
- Best Dressed Contest – Wear your best hat or bowtie and you might just win a prize
Proceeds will support the Hospital Hospitality House of Saginaw, which operates the McNally Hospitality House on the campus of Covenant HealthCare and Emerson Hospitality House on the campus of MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw. The non-profit provides a “home away from home” for out-of-town patients and families traveling to Saginaw for medical care.
The organization serves individuals receiving medical treatment at several local hospitals including Covenant HealthCare, MyMichigan Medical Center, Mary Free Bed, Select Specialty Hospital, and Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center.
