 | The City of Saginaw will host a Citywide Meeting focused on “Elections 101” on Wednesday, September 9, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Saginaw, 121 S. Harrison Street.
The meeting will provide an overview of the election process, including ballot testing and preparation, voting equipment, absentee and early voting, Election Day procedures, election security, and what happens after the polls close. Attendees will also learn about opportunities to serve as election workers and will have an opportunity to ask questions.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the safeguards and procedures involved in our elections and how votes are counted and verified.
