Just as CPR prepares us to respond when someone is experiencing a physical health emergency, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) equips us to recognize when someone may be struggling with their mental health or substance use and know how to respond. This evidence-based training builds confidence and practical skills to offer initial support and help connect someone to appropriate care.

Please join us for an Adult MHFA training on December 9, 2026 from 10:00am - 4:00pm at the Covenant HealthCare College of Medicine at CMU, located at 1632 Stone Street in Saginaw! Many thanks to the McNally Family Foundation for their sponsorship of this training!

Adult MHFA teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of a mental health or substance use challenge. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone and help connect them to the appropriate care.

After completing a 2-hour, self-paced online course, First Aiders will participate in approximately six hours of in-person, instructor-led training together. There is a $25 fee to reserve your spot which covers registration and materials. Lunch and refreshments will be provided - registration is required at the link here: https://givebutter.com/120926-amhfa-training
