Event Description:
Are you searching for scholarships? Unsure about what to include in your essays or college application? The Public Libraries of Saginaw encourages all high school students, their parents, and currently enrolled college students to attend this informative workshop. Lee Ann Martuch, Program Officer with the Saginaw Community Foundation, will provide you with tips on completing the online scholarship applications. Dr. Gwendolyn McMillon, Professor of Literacy at Oakland University, will discuss what it takes to have a winning essay and college application. Students may also bring copies of your application for review. This program is FREE, but registration is limited. To register, call 989-752-3821 Ext. 1202.
