Tuesday, May 23 - Letter Writing Workshop 6-7:30pm Butman-Fish Library

Entire Month of May - War Artifacts Display Normal Library Hours Hoyt Library "Letters Lost Then Found" is a published collection of letters between Saginaw brothers, Fred and William Raubinger, written during Fred's time serving in World War II. On Saturday, May 13, at 2pm, author, Amy Johnson, will appear at Hoyt Library and speak about how her book came to be. She will share some of her actual letters and take questions from the audience. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

In conjunction with this program, Hoyt will be featuring a display of war artifacts that are part of our Local History and Genealogy Collection. This display will run the entire month of May during normal library hours.

On Saturday, May, 20, Leo LeFevre will host a Preserving Family Documents and Photos class at Hoyt. This class will run from 9am to Noon and will focus on basic preservation and storage techniques for family documents and photos.

Finally, on May 23, the Saginaw Community Writing Center will hold a letter writing workshop from 6-7:30pm at Butman-Fish. No registration is required for any of the programs.
