The YMCA of Saginaw kicks off the 2017/2018 Veterans learn series with an open house event. Guest presenters include Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center Associate Director Chris Cauley, YMCA CEO/President Steve Meyer and Robert Price of the Michigan Veteran Affairs Agency. Amongst other topics, presenters will discuss the importance of agencies collaborating to address Veteran needs. The open house is being held at the YMCA of Saginaw, 1915 Fordney Street from 5 pm – 6 pm on Tuesday September 12.

The Y’s Veterans Health Initiative provides monthly learn events, complimentary facility access for Veterans and their families, camperships for youth of military families to attend Camp Timbers in West Branch, and we work in concert with the Aleda Lutz VA Medical Center to help provide water rehab and other wellness activities. The Y stands ready to assist those who serve”.
