Please join us for a ribbon cutting on June 28, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. for the Educational Garden at KidsCampUs - Saginaw! This project was developed by the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce Leadership Saginaw Class of 2018 to help provide youth (ages 6 to 18 years old) with a variety of educational opportunities.
The garden will allow them to develop a life-long hobby, give them a greater appreciation of nature, and an increased interest in nutrition, that tie directly to five core areas of development outlined by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America: Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, the Arts, and Sports Fitness and Recreation.
The garden will be used to provide a new set of activities to promote education, self-esteem, team building, responsibility, healthy life styles, and an increased respect for the environment.
