Event Description:

Technology is rapidly transforming the workplace. As a result, the talent gap is expanding in key industries. In fact, there will be more than 811,000 high-demand, high-wage career openings through 2024 in IT and computer science, healthcare, manufacturing, business, professional trades, and other professions.

The Marshall Plan for Talent is a revolutionary approach to prepare students and adults for the jobs of today and tomorrow. The plan will provide $100 million to create or expand innovative programs for in-demand occupations, increase career exploration and awareness and invest in students and teachers.

At these workshops, we’ll provide in-depth details about the plan and how business and education leaders can work together to not only apply for grant funding, but ultimately build innovative partnerships that address education and talent gaps in Michigan. These workshops are informational only and aimed at developing partnerships – you don’t have to make a commitment.

Please join us on August 21 to learn more about the Marshall Plan for Talent – and how you can be part of it.
