Duties:Responsible for scheduling Rolling Family Resource Center (RFRC) sites, coordinating and scheduling trusted community partners, maintaining RFRC inventory, and facilitating RFRC programming at community events. The full-time, non-exempt position reports to the RFRC Program Director. The employee’s primary work location is the Saginaw CAN Council facility. This exciting role as Rolling Coordinator involves serving the communities of Saginaw and Huron counties, bringing our Rolling Family Resource Center directly to those in need. This position requires regular travel throughout both counties, engaging with community partners and families. The dynamic nature of our mobile outreach program may occasionally require flexibility in scheduling, including some evenings and weekends, to ensure effective teamwork and service delivery. This position requires a very flexible schedule with frequent evening and weekend events. The candidate should be a self-starter with good time management skills and reliable transportation. To support mobile outreach efforts, this role requires driving a company box truck. The CAN Council will cover all costs and provide study time for you to obtain the required license within the first 30 days. This is not a chauffeur position and does not involve transporting passengers. Program Implementation Responsibilities 1. Work with the RFRC Program Director to identify sites to host the RFRC 2. Work on-site with families, including the Parent Advisory Committee 3. Create a strong foundation of community resource knowledge to connect families to support 4. Attend community meetings to network and build strong relationships and collaborations with community partners, volunteers, and supporters 5. Manage current and future outreach program demographic data, including participant evaluations 6. Conduct follow-up with constituents to encourage continued engagement 7. Represent CAN Council by providing organizational overviews, scheduling, and participating at outreach events 8. Understand and effectively communicate CAN Council’s mission, programs, and impact to the community through presentations, written communication, tours and networking 9. Stock the RFRC with concrete support materials, including diapers, clothing, food, etc. 10. Drive the RFRC to events 11. Collaborate to create volunteer job descriptions and work with volunteers in relation to the RFRC program 12. Obtain & maintain training and licensure needed for the position 13. Other duties as assigned to achieve the mission of the organization
Experience Required:· Associate degree in relevant field or equivalent · Strong interpersonal skills · Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Planner, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive · Organized and timely · Ability to work efficiently and autonomously. · Daily operations require the ability to lift 50 pounds without restrictions · A valid driver’s license is required. The CAN Council will cover the costs associated with obtaining the chauffeur’s license, which is necessary for driving a company box truck. This includes the time needed to learn the material and maintain the licensure, accompanied by a medical examiner’s certificate
