| Duties: | 1. Coordinate and manage Safe Baby program
2. Present Mandated Reporter training in conjunction with DHHS
3. Present MBF Child and Teen Safety Matters to students (K-12)
4. Become a trained facilitator for adult prevention trainings and presentations
5. Implement additional prevention programs as developed
6. Attend training and professional conferences as requested and/or approved by the Prevention Program Director.
7. Provide support for parent education through preparation for classes, data entry, and program evaluation
8. Assist with coverage for outreach activities and prepare necessary materials
9. Obtain training needed for the position and be observed by PE Program Director to be approved for presenting without supervision
10. Implement referral system and cultivate community relationships to promote and enhance prevention education and support programs.
11. Ensure timely data entry, reporting, and evaluation for prevention programs.
12. Provide data analytics to Program Director using Microsoft Planner. |
| Experience Required: | Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience teaching adult learners is required with special consideration for candidates with experience educating parents and those with significant lived experience; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive and Planner; knowledgeable and comfort with database management; outstanding presentation, organizational and team building skills; exceptional customer service; positive attitude; organized and timely; must work well with
both children & adults; ability to work efficiently, effectively and with flexibility. Must be able to lift 40 pounds as required.
Annual satisfactory driving record and background check clearance required. CAN Council will provide training on all current parent education and support programs upon hiring. |
