Event Description: Victorious Believers Ministries (VBM) will host a community-wide worship event in observance of Pentecost on Sunday, May 23 at 2pm on Ojibway Island in Saginaw. Pentecost Sunday is a religious holiday celebrated by Christians worldwide on the 50th day after Easter Sunday. The ministry hopes that this outdoor event will attract attendees from interfaith and multicultural communities across the Great Lakes Bay Region. VBM recently partnered with Consumers Energy for their “House of Worship” Rewards Program. VBM and Consumers Energy volunteers will be available during the event to register customers for a free energy analysis for their homes that can help them save money on their monthly bill and an opportunity to receive a free gift. In addition, this event will feature music by two-time Stellar Award winning Gospel music group and Saginaw natives, RiZen. The group will be performing their new single, “He’ll Be There”. Also appearing is one of Saginw’s own newest recording Gospel artist, Na’Kaja Reed. This event is free and opened to the public.
