Event Description: Victorious Believers Ministries (VBM) will host its 4th Annual Victorious Life Family Conference from August 18 through August 22 to help empower families throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. This year’s conference is free to all registrants and will resume in-person with masks and social distancing required. The conference theme, "S.A.F.E. (Strengthening All Families Effectively): You Can’t Steal Home”, emphasizes the importance of strengthening families holistically who have been affected physically, emotionally, and financially by the COVID-19 pandemic. Consequently, the conference will provide families with health and wellness information, educational support, parenting resources, and financial literacy training, in addition to offering free community services that can assist families with their various needs. Each night there will be motivational worship services with activities, original dramas, uplifting music, and liturgical dancing to inspire the entire family. On Friday morning, August 20 there will be free educational workshops held online via Zoom from 11am until 1pm for adults and youth ages 12-18. Friday evening the ministry will celebrate with a 25th Anniversary Vow Renewal ceremony in honor of Superintendent Chris and Lady Kenyatta Pryor. Married couples of all ages from across the country will also join the couple by renewing their own vows during a special moment in the ceremony. All evening events for the week will convene at 7:30pm. On Saturday, August 21 from 12-4pm, VBM will celebrate its 13th annual Back to School Rally and give away 500 backpacks with free school supplies to students in grades K-12. This event will also include inflatables, family games, prizes, music, and local community and food vendors. This year's conference line-up of international motivational speakers includes Bishop Linwood Dillard, Pastor of Citadel of Deliverance in Memphis, TN; Ebony Gipson, CEO of I Am Building Something, LLC; Kai N. Gritter, Extension Educator/Program Coordinator of Michigan State University Extensions Saginaw County; and Pastor Herb Ford, Youth Pastor of Cornerstone Church, Lima, Ohio. Conference sponsors and community partners include Isabella Bank, Consumers Energy, Saginaw CRA Bankers, Boy Scouts of America, and Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Saginaw. The conference will conclude on Sunday, August 22 with “The Home Run Worship Service” at 11am with special guest, Pastor Corey Pryor of Oasis of Love Full Gospel Church in Jackson, MI.
