Together with the Dow Event Center, Michigan Cornhole, and The Children’s Dyslexia Center – the Saginaw Spirit are proud to bring on this new event to help raise funds for a great cause in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
Did you know that 1 in every 3 children suffer from a form of dyslexia? Without proper intervention, dyslexia can lead to literacy, academic, social and self-esteem difficulties. While it is a treatable condition, millions of sufferers go without help due to lack of finances or access to services.
That’s where the Children’s Dyslexia Centers can help.
The Children’s Dyslexia Centers are equipping students with the skills and confidence they need to approach learning with eagerness and without fear. Our proven therapeutic techniques have a documented success rate, generally resulting in significant gain in reading level.
And none of this is possible without the great support that you can help provide!
So come on out and enjoy a fun night at the Dow, throw some bags, and help us break records for funds raised for the Dyslexia Center this year!
We still have plenty of openings for players at just $50 per person and includes a minimum of 3 games of cornhole, a complimentary t-shirt, 2 hot dogs, and 1 Pepsi product. The lucky winners will go home with their very own full size custom Saginaw Spirit cornhole boards!
There is also still openings remaining on sponsorship! What a way to get your name out in the community and show pride in helping support a great cause. We have board sponsorships available at $300 for one or $500 for two! Take a look at the attached flyer and maybe decide on our Power Play package which will allow you sponsorship on 2 boards AND include 2 players into the tournament.
Lastly – we’re going to have plenty of raffle prizes available including, a cooler of cheer raffle, a 50/50 raffle, and a raffle for some awesome prizes like a signed Filip Hronek stick, a signed Brandon Saad stick, signed Chris Chelios pucks, and more!!
