Event Description: Help CNC make cages that protect turtle nests. We’ll discuss different turtle species that call central Michigan home and how these cages protect their eggs from nest predators. Cages will be available to purchase for a small fee at the end of the program. Chippewa Nature Center is celebrating Earth Day with a week full of family friendly programs, workshops, and stewardship projects. From exploring under logs to creating turtle nest cages, there’s an opportunity suited for all ages and activity levels. Some programs will have a registration requirement and a small fee to cover materials. FREE, Pre-register by 4/19 l Ages 9+, under 18 w/adult
