Event Description: Join an Interpretive Naturalist to explore life under decomposing logs and leaf litter. We will look for the small animals that help keep our soils rich in nutrients. Please dress for the weather and possible muddy conditions. The program will meet at the Lanigan Pavilion at the Homestead Road turnaround. Chippewa Nature Center is celebrating Earth Day with a week full of family friendly programs, workshops, and stewardship projects. From exploring under logs to creating turtle nest cages, there’s an opportunity suited for all ages and activity levels. Some programs will have a registration requirement and a small fee to cover materials. FREE | All ages, under 18 w/adult
