Event Description: The trills and peeps of woodland frogs and toads are some of the loudest and earliest signs of spring. Join a CNC naturalist to learn about Michigan’s spring frogs and get up close with these petite amphibians at CNC's vernal pools. We'll log our findings with the Michigan Herp Atlas project, a citizen science project. Please wear mud boots or shoes that can get muddy. Chippewa Nature Center is celebrating Earth Day with a week full of family friendly programs, workshops, and stewardship projects. From exploring under logs to creating turtle nest cages, there’s an opportunity suited for all ages and activity levels. Some programs will have a registration requirement and a small fee to cover materials. FREE | All ages, under 18 w/adult
