Event Description: This isn’t your typical trash pick-up! To help us find litter, we are waiting for the sun to set to use our UV flashlights to find strings and small pieces of plastic that glow under the light. Crank up the fun by wearing neon colors to illuminate yourself as well! You are welcome to bring your own UV light, the Nature Center has loaners as well. Please dress for the weather and possible muddy conditions. Chippewa Nature Center is celebrating Earth Day with a week full of family friendly programs, workshops, and stewardship projects. From exploring under logs to creating turtle nest cages, there’s an opportunity suited for all ages and activity levels. Some programs will have a registration requirement and a small fee to cover materials. FREE | All ages, under 18 w/adult
