The demand for food assistance continues to increase in many communities across the state including Saginaw. Ascension St. Mary's Hospital Center of HOPE offers a food pantry to serve individuals who suffer from hunger and food insecurity.
During September, the Center of HOPE food pantry, located at 723 Emerson Street in Saginaw, will be distributing food multiple times. In addition to the regular food pantry distributions on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, two additional outdoor giveaways will be available.

The outdoor food giveaways begin at 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. or the quota is met. Sign in is not required for the outdoor events.
The indoor food pantry sign-in starts at 8 a.m. Food distribution is from 9 - 11:30 a.m. or until they have served the quota of 70 families for the day.
Anyone who needs assistance with food is welcome, no appointment is needed. One person per household can participate in the food pantry once a month. Someone is available to assist with getting food to the car.
