Pit & Balcony’s 91st season continues on March 17th with Sweat which will run two weekends through March 26th.
Lynn Nottage’s 2017 Pulitzer Prize-winning play is filled with warm humor and tremendous heart. It tells the story of a group of friends who have spent their lives sharing drinks, secrets, and laughs while working together on the factory floor. When layoffs and picket lines being to chip away at their trust, the friends find themselves pitted against each other in a heart-wrenching fight to stay afloat.
Sweat is presented in partnership with IBEW Local 557 and the Mid-Michigan Labor Council.
