Event Description:

On Saturday, June 24, the Castle Museum along with community partners from Delta Kids, Public Libraries of Saginaw, READ, Disability Network, Heart of the City Development Center, the Michigan State Police, Saginaw County Sherriff, and MMR will kick off a summer full of kid’s activities with a main event taking place in and around the Castle Museum located at 500 Federal Avenue in Saginaw.
According to Castle Museum Education Coordinator Kristi Furtaw, “The summer kickoff event is a great way for the Saginaw community to come together in a kid-centric way at the very beginning of summer break and really focus on all the great activities available to children throughout the summer at different institutions.”
The Summer Kick Off event will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and includes free books for participants, fun activities, a touch-a-truck event, and free bike helmets to the first 50 kids. Additional summer events through the Castle Museum will take place through August and can be found online at www.castlemuseum.org.
The Castle Museum is open seven days a week. For further questions or information, please contact the Museum at 989-752-2861.
