Event Description: Free Lunchtime Walking Tours 7/26, 8/2 & 8/9 11:45 a.m. ? In conjunction with the SVRC Marketplace, the Castle Museum is offering three lunchtime walking tours. The tours begin in the historic lobby of the SVRC Marketplace at 11:45 a.m. Each tour will last approximately 30 minutes and require 5-8 blocks of walking on city sidewalks. Tours are free. No registration required. ? | The History & Architecture of the SVRC Marketplace Building | Wednesday, July 26 ? | Saginaw Paving Brick | Wednesday, August 2 We explore the history of buildings constructed from Saginaw Paving bricks. ? | Wirt & Rowland | Wednesday, August 9 We will look at the exteriors of two buildings designed by noted Detroit architect Witt and Rowland--the AT&T and Huntington Bank Buildings.
