Event Description: Free Therapeutic Movements Class at McDowell Healing Arts Center in collaboration with Katherine Gracer. The class will be held on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Adults & children 15 plus are welcome. Must register by 8/07/2023. Limited space is available. Please see our website or give us a call for more information. This class does not require any dance experience. Learn coping mechanisms through soothing movements, dance, and music to better regulate the nervous system. Movements can reshape the narrative of traumatic experiences. The structure of the class may include an introduction to topic at the beginning. A connection of the mind, body and spirit in the middle and a review of tools learned at the end of the class. *The event will be held in the lower level at McDowell Healing Arts Center - not handicap accessible.
