Event Description: We welcome you to join us in kicking off Native American Heritage Month with a Native American Graves Protection and Reparation Presentation by the Ziibiwing Center of Anishinaabe Culture & Lifeways, followed by a film screening of Warrior Lawyers: Defenders of Sacred Justice with director Audrey Geyer. Warrior Lawyers: Defenders of Sacred Justice is a PBS documentary that focuses on the stories of Michigan Native American Lawyers and Tribal Judges who work with Native Nations, their citizens, and mainstream institutions to achieve healing and Sacred Justice.
