Event Description: Saturday, February 7, 2015, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Fishy, Fishy in the brook! Visit the MMCM on Saturday, February 7, 2015, and swim your way through our Find-a-Fish Scavenger Hunt, show off your inner-angler by building a boat (and watching it float) in the water table, Lure your friends to the Art Mart to design a fish print with bubble wrap, and vote for your favorite Super Bowl team…..perhaps the Dolphins or Seahawks? Includes all-day gallery play. With regular paid admission. MMCM members are free. Elementary pre-service teachers from Central Michigan University will create math-learning centers called openers where students and their parents can explore math in a fun, engaging, and hands-on manner. We will then do some math challenges which are more in-depth activities. Recommended for children grades 3-6. Children must be accompanied by an adult. With regular paid admission. MMCM members are free. Please RSVP on or before Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Seating is limited.
