Do you know a child who suffers from asthma? Be sure to sign him or her up for the 2015 Delta College Asthma Camp. This free camp is supervised by registered respiratory therapists, and facilitates interaction with other children who also have asthma in a fun, safe environment. Camp will take place Monday, June 22 (for those entering grades 1st – 4th and Wednesday, June 24 (for those entering grades 5th – 7th) from 9 am to 3 pm.
The children will be given hands-on demonstrations on the proper use of asthma treatment tools. Lunch is also provided. Children should bring rescue and midday medications, a towel, swim suit, and tennis shoes. A parent or legal guardian is required to accompany the child to Delta to complete emergency information forms.
