Come to Chix Who Mix and enjoy a cacophony of liquid concoctions at this collaborative community FUNdraiser to support four arts and enrichment organizations that make Saginaw a great place to be. Hip chix prepare and pour sample tastes of up to five blended beverages ranging from coffees and punch to cocktails and brews.

Your $20 ticket includes 5 tasting samples, snacks, music by Honesty and Noel and interaction with some of Saginaw's most memorable Chix and some pretty cool roosters too.

Chix Who Mix will take place Thursday, July 16, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum, 315 W. Genesee. Come support your favorite chixologist and help her win the coveted Pullet-zer Prize People’s Choice Award by adding your tip to her jar. Additional awards will be presented for Best Overall Beverage, and Best Dressed/Themed Presentation.

Tickets can be purchased at the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum or by phone at 989-399-6626. Chix Who Mix is an over-21 event and will take place rain or shine.

The Chix are mixin' for the following organizations:
Children’s Zoo at Celebration Square – The Zoo, now in its 86th year, is home to more than 150 animal residents. In 2009, the Zoo took a step toward a higher standard for animal care by becoming accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum – As the region’s only hands-on museum designed solely for children under 12, kids can find a constantly changing array of activities with galleries tied to the Michigan school curriculum. The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum is a jewel in the region’s cultural experience.

Saginaw Arts & Enrichment Commission – It was founded in 1986 on a simple and powerful premise: that the arts enrich lives, expand minds and form a vital thread in the fabric of a community. Through leadership, education, advocacy and funding, the Arts Commission promotes and supports artists and artistic organizations in the area.

Saginaw Choral Society – Now in its 80th season “There’s No Place Like Home”, the 80+ members of the Choral Society, led by interim Music Director Jeremiah Kraniak, entertain and excite audiences with classical, contemporary and popular choral concerts at Saginaw’s historic Temple Theatre.
