Event Description:

The community support and training meeting provides training on human behavior. We also teach specific concepts as they relate to working with/living with individuals with autism. Topics change each month and can be found by checking the calendar of events page at www.spectrumautismcenter.com. The training will be followed by a support group meeting for families and caregivers.

The meetings are held the Tuesday of each month from 6 -8 pm (light refreshments provided). Training takes place from 6-7 pm and the support group follows from 7-8 pm.

The meetings are hosted by Spectrum Autism Center, 3949 N. River Rd., Freeland, MI 48623.

Who should come?
Parents, caregivers, siblings, teachers, police, fire fighters, doctors, nurses, and any community member interested in learning about behavior, motivation, autism, autism research, best practices when working with people with autism.

Can I bring my children?
Yes! Children and young adults are welcome to join us for some social time/play time. Staff members will facilitate social groups and play. Please RSVP because staffing/space is limited.

How can I RSVP?
Please RSVP with the number of adults attending training and/or support. Also, RSVP the number of children, adolescents, or young adults with their ages that are coming for social time to:
