Students in K-12 grades are invited to be a part of Kids Discover Art Day at the Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum on Tuesday, May 10.
K-12 public, private, parochial and home school students are invited to come to the Museum for a free one-hour program that includes a Museum tour and an art activity in the classroom. Sixty students can be accommodated each hour between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Teachers can sign up for an hour of learning that's fun and exciting for your students by calling 989-964-7096, or download the registration form on our website at marshallfredericks.org and fax to (989)964-7221 or email to ondish@svsu.edu.
If your school needs transportation assistance, indicate that on the registration form and the Museum will provide a subsidy of up to $90 per school.
The Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum is located on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University, 7400 Bay Rd., University Center, MI 48710. Museum hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.
