To mark the first anniversary of its popular patio, the Bavarian Inn Restaurant’s Michigan on Main Bar and Grill is having a “Firkin Friday” party on May 27. The fun begins at 6 p.m.
The featured beer to be served that evening is Bourbon Barrel Vanilla Coffee Stout, produced by the Rochester Mills Beer Company of Rochester, Mich. There will be a celebratory tapping of the brew by State Sen. Ken Horn (R. 32nd District) who represents Frankenmuth.
In addition to the “Firkin Friday” flavor of the day, Michigan on Main boasts 17 Michigan microbrews on tap to choose from, in addition to Michigan on Main’s menu of locally and regionally sourced and inspired appetizers, salads, and entrees, all served in a fun, casual atmosphere.
Guests are welcome to join the “firkin” fun in the 50-seat patio area, with a walk-up bar, a custom dual-level fireplace, and entryways from both inside Michigan on Main as well as from outside the restaurant.
