The East Side Soup Kitchen has been serving those who struggle with food insecurity in Saginaw since 1980. Last year, our organization served 80,848 meals. During this year’s first quarter, we have served 15,316 meals and an additional 11,231 meals in April and May.
Our mission goes beyond providing food. Each day, we serve our meals with a side of hope. Whether it be encouraging words, personal care items, or emergency food baskets, our guests appreciate the ESSK. The support we receive makes an incredible impact on the lives of our neighbors in need. The 18th Annual East Side Soup Kitchen will be held on Monday, June 17 at the Saginaw Country Club.
