Most of us would agree the initial part of networking—meeting people—isn’t the hardest part; maintaining relationships is far more difficult. By following up, you solidify your relationship with that person and it gives you a chance to ask a particular question, or arrange a time to meet one-on-one. And yet, 70% of the time, people don’t follow-up with people they meet at networking events.
