The “elevator speech” or “elevator pitch” is a concise, compelling introduction that can be communicated in the amount of time it takes someone to ride the elevator to her floor.
Your elevator speech is a way to share your expertise and credentials with people at a networking event, and a great way to gain confidence in introducing yourself to hiring managers and company representatives.
