Event Description:
Celebrate National Reading Month - *Join us for a morning of all-you-can-eat pancakes, free books, storytelling and literacy activities at the Hunger Solution Center, 940 E. Genesee on Saturday, March 14 from 9:00am-11:30am. *Tickets are $3.00 per person (under one year old - free!) and will be available at the door. *Special appearances and books read by Miss Michigan (Mallory Rivard), Senator Ken Horn, and Rep. Vanessa Guerra. *Free capes for the first 100 children. *Local authors Danielle Green ("Hey Pretty Girl) and Jen and Delaney Kehres ("Delaney's Dinosaur") *Literacy Activities provided by Public Libraries of Saginaw, READ Association, SPSD Birth to 5, Saginaw Children's Zoo, and Children's Grief Center of the Great Lakes Bay Region. *Bring a canned goods donation and receive one raffle ticket for each can for a chance to win great books.
