Event Description:
Believers Ministries presents its 3rd Annual Victorious Life Family Conference from Wednesday, August 19 through Sunday, August 23. The theme for this year’s virtual conference is "Strong Families for Tough Times" and the purpose is to provide valuable community information, resources, and encouragement to help strengthen families throughout the Great Lakes Bay Area. On Friday, August 21 at 6pm the ministry will partner with local government and faithbased leaders to host a 30-minute outdoor community memorial and prayer vigil on the church grounds for families in the community who have experienced tragedies and loss during 2020. The memorial is open to the public and will include expressions from Floyd Kloc, Mayor of Saginaw; Vanessa Guerra, State Representative of the 95th District; and the Honorable Andre R. Borrello, 10th Circuit Court Judge, as well as prayers from local pastors. Anyone who has lost a loved-one this year is invited to bring a token of remembrance to place at the memorial in their honor, especially those who were unable to attend traditional memorials for their family and friends due to COVID-19. The service will conclude with a special prayer for essential workers and a candlelit prayer vigil and moment of silence in remembrance of loved-ones who have passed. The community memorial designed to display unity and strength within the Saginaw community will remain open to the public until Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
